steam, error, steamwebhelper

The following explains how to fix the steamwebhelper error on client PCs by clearing Steam’s AppData.

  1. Open super client and remote the client PC to make the following changes
  2. Go to C:\ProgramData and delete the Steam folder.
  3. Open the File Explorer, type %localappdata% in the address bar, and press Enter. Find and delete the Steam folder there as well.
  4. Restart your PC to clear any remaining processes.
  5. After the PC restarts, open Steam and check if the problem is solved.
  6. Deleting these folders removes corrupted settings or temporary files. When you launch Steam again, it will rebuild fresh files, often fixing connection, loading, or startup problems.
  7. Shutdown the PC, disable Super Client, and save the changes.
  8. Then reboot all PCs and the Steam issue should be resolved for all of them.
