steam, error, steamwebhelper
The following explains how to fix the steamwebhelper error on client PCs by clearing Steam’s AppData.
- Open super client and remote the client PC to make the following changes
- Go to C:\ProgramData and delete the Steam folder.
- Open the File Explorer, type %localappdata% in the address bar, and press Enter. Find and delete the Steam folder there as well.
- Restart your PC to clear any remaining processes.
- After the PC restarts, open Steam and check if the problem is solved.
- Deleting these folders removes corrupted settings or temporary files. When you launch Steam again, it will rebuild fresh files, often fixing connection, loading, or startup problems.
- Shutdown the PC, disable Super Client, and save the changes.
- Then reboot all PCs and the Steam issue should be resolved for all of them.
