The following explains the error caused by a conflict between CS2 and Vanguard anti-cheat, and how to resolve it.
- If you encounter the error 'Your device ran into a problem and needs to restart' while playing CS2 (Figure 1)

- Open the Windows system tray and exit Vanguard, as it causes conflicts with Steam’s anti-cheat system.(Figure 2)

- Restart CS2, and the game should now run without any errors.
