Wake on lan Intel NIC

The following explains how to enable Wake-on-LAN (WOL) for Intel NIC drivers.

  1. Updating CCBootClient to version 20251104 will fix the issue with Intel Wake-on-LAN.
  2. If you have multiple images, make sure to apply the update to all of them.


Manual way

  1. Enable super client at the PC with the intel NIC
  2. Run the registry from below
    reg add "HKLM\SYSTEM\CCBootPnP\Optimize\Driver" /v "*WakeOnMagicPacket" /t REG_SZ /d "1" /f
  3. Reboot client PC
  4. Shutdown the PC and disable the super client to save the changes.
  5. After that, boot the PC from the CCBoot panel  Wake-on-LAN (WOL) will work.
