The following explains how to update the CCBoot Client from the web admin panel without manually reinstalling the client files on each PC after updating the CCBoot Server.

  1. Navigate to Boot → Image, right-click the desired image, and select ‘Update CCBootClient’ (Figure 1).

  1. Click ‘Start Update’ to begin the update process.(Figure 2).

  1. Once completed, the progress will be shown at the top as ‘update_ccboot_client 100%(Figure 3).

  1. The CCBoot Client update process may fail if the image is already in use.
    For example if it is mounted by another disk and cannot be mounted successfully. In this case, unmounting the image or rebooting the system may resolve the issue.
  2. VHDX files do not support automatic client updates. Only VHD files can be used for automatic updates.
