PXE, boot, image

The following provides guidelines on selecting appropriate PXE boot options as ipxe, ipxe2025 and ipxe2026 for both legacy and UEFI boot modes

After creating an image, you need to select PXE booting in the Cloud Panel.

  1. For UEFI boot:
ipxe.efi (UEFI): Compatible with most systems by importing its Certificate v1 into the BIOS directly.
ipxe2025.efi (UEFI): Updated PXE. Requires enrollment of its Certificate v2 via the UEFI MOK (Machine Owner Key) interface.
ipxe2026.efi (UEFI): Latest PXE Requires its Certificate v2 to be imported into the BIOS directly, bypassing the MOK process.

  1. For Legacy boot:
Ipxe.pxe (BIOS) - default and supports most of motherboards
Ipxe2025 (Bios) - Latest PXE update for Legacy
ipxex.pxe(DEPRECATED) - Only for old motherboards that are not working with ipxe.pxe
