Diskless Boot Software CCBoot - BSOD Solution

Why I Get into a BSOD Error When Playing Games on a Diskless Boot Client PC?

If you are using an NVIDIA display card with the latest driver on the client, it may lead to this issue. Here's the resolution -


  1. On CCBoot server, double click this client in the client list, click to select the "Keep Write-back File" check box under "Client Properties" in "CCBoot Client" dialog box, then click "No" in the prompt dialog box.
  2. Diskless boot this client PC, download the recommended NVIDIA display card driver from here.
    Note: it's just drivers for Windows XP.
  3. Install the recommended driver for the NVIDIA display card on this client PC. When installation completed, please reboot this client PC to make sure it's working well, then shut down.
  4. On CCBoot server, click "Save to Image" button under "Client Properties" in "CCBoot Client" dialog box of this client.
